Remember those afternoons – who are we kidding – those mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights that were spent trying to beat your Snake high score? Whilst drenched in nostalgia, we are happy to say that Nokia will be relaunching their 3310 model. That’s right – the OG of our generation is back. Easily the most reliable phone to have ever been made, the phone will be launched at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona later this month.
When the world decidedly let their phones get smarter than themselves, Nokia failed to play at that game and took a giant step back. But today, with almost all smartphone users complaining of low battery life and the delicate nature of their devices, we can’t think of a better solution than the phone that ran days without needing to be charged. The cost is projected to be Rs. 4200 as reported by inUth, affordable enough to be your handy and necessary ‘Goa phone’.
At the same conference, Nokia is all set to launch the Nokia 5 and Nokia 3. The 5.2-inch Nokia 5 will have 2GB of RAM and a 12-megapixel camera. There are no details about the entry-level Nokia 3 except that it will cost €149, and both phones will run on Android 7, as reported on Mashable.
Needless to say, we’ll be buying this phone just to play Snake and feel the joy of pressing buttons once again. What’s your high score, huh?
