The Internet tips the scales pretty often. Either we get something great out of it, or we’re left shutting down our electronic devices while thinking, “Enough internet for today.” Sadly, when real life hits you with the same amount of crazy, there’s no real way to shut real life out, however, in Haryana there is a way to work around it. Escape rooms may be catching on as a trend around India, but this room promises its users more of a thrill. The Break Room is India’s first ever literal stress-buster room, filled with items you can destroy at your own will.
Of course, there is money involved. For about Rs. 200 per hour, you get to play what feels like Whack-A-Mole in real life (inanimate objects only, we promise no animals are harmed), with no restrictions. Just pure destruction. Each session is about two minutes, but you are allowed to book the room for a longer duration of time, if you feel the need. The rules are simple, all you have to do is follow their safety instructions, wear boots or sneakers (basically shoes that cover your feet), and be above 18 years of age.
The Break Room was brought into India by Ctrl.Shift.Esc as part of their efforts to introduce alternative forms of entertainment. You can book your session with them, to wreck an item or two by calling 0124 417 5424, between 12pm and 8pm.
